栗子的輕音樂

其實這首歌的年紀已經很老了，會聽到這首是因為青蘋果之戀這張合輯
裡面有收錄西城男孩翻唱的版本，聽完一遍就讓我愛上它的旋律了

這首歌最早是由一位法國歌手 Jacques Brel 所演唱
歌曲的原名是「Le Moribond」，意思是「將死的人」
大致上是描述一個罹患癌症的人對父親、妻子、摯友的不捨之情
從這名字和歌詞描述大概就猜得出...這並不是什麼快樂的歌
後來一位與他私交不錯的美國詩人歌手 Rod McKuen 把詞翻成英文
並把名字取為「Seasons In The Sun」後發行專輯係，但在當時並沒有造成很大的迴響

後來有位與 Rod McKuen 熟識的朋友 - Terry Jacks
他將這首歌推薦給 Beach Boys，可惜因錄製效果不理想，最後沒收錄到唱片內
但是 Terry Jacks 非常喜歡這首歌，而且為了追悼他已故的朋友，決定自己錄製
他取得作者同意後，把最後的歌詞做了一些小更動後才錄製到唱片內
果然一發片後就讓這首歌穩坐排行榜第一名三週之久

至於 Terry Jacks 和 Westlife 的版本哪個比較好聽？我是覺得差不多
所以就兩個版本都放上來，各位就用自己的耳朵來做比較吧
